On the afternoon of September 16th, 2015, the School of Foreign Languages (SFL) held a security meeting at Meeting Room 101 in order to better implement the spirit of the conference on laboratory security work of institutions of higher learning in Shanxi Province and deploy security work to ensure the campus safety and the security of teachers and students. Liu Chunyuan, secretary of CPC general branch of SFL, attended the meeting along with all laboratory members of the school. The meeting was chaired by Yu Xinchun, vice dean of SFL in charge of administrative affairs.
At the meeting, Mr. Yu Xinchun restated the spirit of the conference on laboratory security work of institutions of higher learning in Shanxi Province, which was held on the afternoon of September 15th, 2015. He also emphasized the importance of the laboratory safety work and suggested that safety awareness should be further strengthened. The laboratory work involves so valuable equipment and so great responsibilities that the daily safety check is definitely imperative. So no negligence is allowed in fire prevention and public security. The work should be done strictly according to the signed liability statement. And laboratory workers also need perform their duties earnestly by doing daily inspection, closing multimedia classrooms immediately after class and reporting problems timely to ensure the safety of all the teachers and students.
